I just was in a church today, but I still wouldn't consider myself a believer.  I have a hard time with tolerance for proselytizers but those who believe but don't insist on imposing their beliefs on others I'm mostly fine with.   The whole thing (as with any religion) seems about as believable as Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny, but the power of the words in the Bible (and its "literature" component (and of cores all the morals embedded in all the stories)) are certainly worthy of some respect.  But I can't muster much more than a very quiet polite skepticism on my very best day.

So here I would say I still need a considerable bit of work on my own tolerance.
