elegance
related to evaluating solutions to problems
Trying to look at how this works. At some later date, I'll try and specifically define what I mean by elegant, but for now, let's just assume that the gist of what people think it means is correct.
I think maybe "hack" means the opposite of elegant --- the thing is that a really good "hack" often has its own elegance, as there's often some aspect of "sidestepping" at least part of the original problem
