This morning it's 67 and windy as the remnants of hurricane Ike blow through.
Incredibly muggy yesterday, pretty much 100% humidity but without any actual rain.
2 days ago we did get another substantial rainstorm.

Got in 15-20 minutes of good windsurfing just after dawn. It's nice to be able to put the sail at the right angle and bend the knees and just crank. It seems like a constant battle to be getting into a position where I can pull it down over my head and really hang on the wishboom. But when it happens it's pretty great. It seems that when I do get to one of those "stars are aligned" moments, that it's possible to sustain a slightly upwind reach as long as the gust either remains steady (or even continues to build). The problem of course is that the time I can realistically hold on is measured in seconds (dozens if I get lucky), so getting a working harness seems key now.
