pump's been off for a week or so (just turned it back on for 1/2 hour a day because the comet is still alive in there and can probably use a little oxygen)
little south window has also been off (which Raffy likes because now he can no longer be locked in or out)
and only the early morning and a short period mid-afternoon does the gh get direct sun now
