it's been a cool wet summer (the past week being exceptionally hot) -- in general, there was plenty of steady precip all summer with this recent stretch by far being the dryest (it's been 2 weeks plus since substantal rain) -- right now it's pouring as Hurricane Hannah's remnants come through, so presumably this will mark the shift into "fall" mode -- I'll be paying a lot more attention to the greenhouse as we cool down (the boxwood and rosemary cuttings are the only things alive in there at the moment, and those mainly because they were recently potted up)
