only partially cloudy, but it means the temps aren't soaring the way they could (warm enough anyhow)

pretty good skiing this morning (perhaps the last time?), but just a boatload of work to push that heavy wet warm (mostly corn) snow around -- Roger the Birdman hopped on the lift with me and as he was getting off he recommended really puffing out the chest and always pointing it straight ahead. I tried that and it actually worked pretty well (though I had the sensation that I must have looked awfully silly, but perhaps that's what the feathers on the helmet are for (to make the rooster-like posture appear more natural)). Anyhow, it did seem like my control was a bit tighter and that I could react quicker than usual when really concentrating hard on that. Birdman's actual expression involved making a hooking motion with his hand and recommending that one visualize that there is a physical hook there always pulling you up and forward at the center of the chest. As I don't know that I've ever seen anyone in person that's a noticeably better skier than this guy (and he said he's been skiing regularly for 40 years), I'm definitely willing to take that advice. Thanks Roger.
