raining steadily since before dawn -- supposed to go over to snow at some point this evening (apparently a very large storm)

got out on the windsurfer at dusk on saturday night -- it was rainy all day and quite windy by then, but it was coming straight onshore and I managed only to get up and then get caught on a floating yellow anchor rope which finally dumpted me in the water which turned out to be bone-chillingly cold -- there's no way it's above the mid-50s (and it may be colder than that, i didn't take a thermometer)
