over the course of the day - the ground is now white -- it's wild how even though my thermometer in the gh shows only 45, the water managed to get warmed up to 48 by being pumped (and I know it was only 45-46 this morning) -- also i'm remembering not to knock the snow off the gh until morning (so that it insulates against radiational cooling tonight).
